I’ve noticed a problem on a few WordPress web sites I manage using Limited Login Attempts Reloaded (2.25.8) and PHP 8. After I upgrade PHP to version 8 or 8.1, I can no longer access the plugin’s controls. Instead, I see the error “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” The site continues to operate normally, and I never get the admin email. If I revert to PHP 7.4, the plugin controls are then immediately accessible. I’ve tried turning off other plugins under PHP8 with no success. Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Steve,

We have tested PHP 8 on a fresh WP installation with LLAR enabled, no issues were found. Try to suppress error logs from the wp-config.php file and see if the plugin interface is available. Also check if the log file has any errors related to LLAR. Thank you.
