    Hello,
I updated the plugin to latest release ( 1.9.60 ).
Now, when I start a backup, I get in wp-admin/error_log

    PHP Warning:
php_uname() has been disabled for security reasons in
    …/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/admin.php on line 2683

The backup files are created and sent to GoogleDrive.

My host provider told me that php_uname cannot be enabled, so I don’t know now if the plugin is running well or not.

    Could you help me?

    Riccardo

    Hi Riccardo,

It doesn’t affect anything. The information gleaned from the function is just added to the log file.

    Ok thanks,

however it’s very common that php_uname is disabled for security reasons. Could you evaluate to remove the call, or ask the user if he has the priviledge to run it.

I would like to keep my error log clean

    Thanks a lot!

    Riccardo
