    Hi Mateusz,
Congratulations on developing your plugin. Really very simple to use and very useful. It would be installed by default on every WordpRess site! ??

Just a little doubt. After installing the plugin and having carried out the first bulk conversion of the images already present, I noticed that the use of RAM on the server where the site is hosted has increased considerably. From about 300Mb to 1.3 Gb (CPanel view- Physical Memory Usage). This increase not only occurs when the plugin is performing conversions (which would be justified behavior of the processing for the conversion), but it is persistent even when the plugin is not performing operations. Could you give me an explanation for this behavior?
Thank you very much and congratulations on your work.

    Greetings
    Leonardo

    Hello @leoidro,

    Thanks for your message.

Do you have the “Enable cron to automatically convert images from outside the Media Library” option active in plugin settings?

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hi Mateusz,
no, that option is not enabled in my settings. Do I have to enable it?

@leoidro What happens when you click “Regenerate All”? Are there any images to convert yet? Is this load all the time – 24 hours a day or only once in a while? Please describe it as precisely as possible.

    1) In this screenshot you can see the RAM usage on my server. You can clearly see the steady increase in usage following the installation of the plugin.
The graph shows the trend for 24 hours.

    1) In this screenshot you can see what happens after clicking on “Regenerete all”. The procedure ends immediately as there are no other images to convert

@leoidro And when you deactive the plugin, what is the status for RAM memory?

    Dear Mateusz,
I tried to disable the plugin but nothing has changed … Now the RAM consumption has dropped from 1.2 Gb to 800Mb (with plugin active). I don’t know what to think … maybe the excessive ram usage problem is probably not related to your plugin.
If disabled, the plugin does not perform any type of task right?
Do you know if there is some sort of Task Manager for WordPress, so that you can identify the culprit?
    Thanks for your help

@leoidro If the plugin is deactivated, there is no way it can do anything. It is technically impossible. Have you installed any other plugins recently?

I recommend trying out Query Monitor plugin. This plugin gives great opportunities to analyze what is on your website.

    Dear Mateusz,
thanks for your help. At this point I would say that we can close the topic.
    Have a nice weekend!
