Picklist Properties & Position on a Form

    Hi there,

    I’m new to WordPress and this plugin and I’m having a bit of a problem siting the picklist type field correctly on my form.

    Instead of aligning below the label like the rest of the fields it seems to be placing itself on the same line, but to the left of the label. Is there a way to correct this so it matches how all the other fields are appearing?

    Also with regards to the checklist field I’m using the format “Campaign Name1:Campaign_ID1|Campaign Name2:Campaign_ID2”, where the user selects the campaign they’re interested in from the picklist.

    In this instance, the Campaign Name = the title of the campaign and Campaign_ID = the Salesforce campaign ID.

    Will this allow the campaign ID to be submitted to Salesforce as a Web to Lead thereby registering their interest for that campaign in Salesforce or am I barking up the wrong tree?

    Positioning issues are usually related to your theme CSS, which can be overridden in your style.css or using the instructions on the Style tab (in the plugin settings).

    RE: Campaign ID
    As long as the field name matches Salesforce and the Campaign IDs are correct, it should work, but I can’t say for sure with the info I have.

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction to check Campaign ID and field name matching in Salesforce. I’ve got it working and capturing the information we need.

    With regards to the form layout I opted to check the box for ” Use WPCF7 CSS integration” and it has almost had the desired effect!

    Field are all a uniform size and aligned correctly, but unfortunately, it also given me a random “Submit” button. It works but looks terrible and completely out of whack with the rest of the form. It also seems to have located itself in a peculiar position on the form.

    Any suggestions what I should be looking for to try and correct this please?

    That checkbox simply adds the WPCF7 classes to the form fields so you get the WPCF7 CSS styles applied (if that plugin is activated).

    If you don’t want those (or all of those, e.g. the submit button styling), you’ll need to either not use that option and customize the form CSS yourself, or just override the submit styling on SF forms while leaving the WPCF7 styling in place.
