    Good Day All,

So I am having a bit of a struggle with 2 plugins. I have tried talking to the support for BOTH plugins and eventually returned them for the money back until we can get some help. Both Supports were totally useless and simply blamed each other instead of actually trying to help. I hope someone here might have experienced this issue and be able to help.

I am a local microgreens grower. We sell at local Farmers Markets but also offers delivery in the area. We found the plugin “Local Pickup Plus” that gives us the ability to list all of the markets she participates in so people can pickup there if they do not want to do delivery. Because of the type of product we do not “Ship”. We have not found a different plugin out there that offers the abilities that this one does for listing all the different markets to let people choose. We ran into a few errors with the plugin not expanding the “Enter Address for Shipping Options” java in WooCommerce (to which the support was 100% useless and unable to even offer any solution). We managed a workout by forcing the css to leave the zip code entry open 100% of the time.

In addition to the Pickup or Delivery for simple online purchases, we run a CSA (a Subscription model) where members can choose a weekly, bi-weekly, or month delivery (or pickup) of microgreens. We came across the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin that seemed to offer all the options that we wanted.

The first problem came on the cart page. When a person enters their zip code it will expand to show all the “Options” that are available to them but it will NOT allow a change from the Local Pickup (you can see a gif of the problem here). When a person clicks the delivery option it does a “refresh” type dim but immediately defaults back to the pickup. Subscriptions says that this is a Local Pickup Plus plugin problem but they say it is a WooCommerce issue.

The second issue is on the actual checkout page. After a customer enters their info it does allow them to select the delivery button BUT it does not update any totals. It also does not update the “Recurring Totals” to show delivery instead of local pickup. We are afraid that this will cause some confusion for customers if they select delivery but it says pickup for recurring (you can see the gif for this issue here)

Before I get the responses saying that these plugins have their own support, I want to reiterate that we have tried those support channels for almost 30 days and got a refund before the 30 day window expired because they were not able to help. We have turned to the forums to see if anyone has encountered these issues that might know how to solve them OR if anyone might have any recommendations for different plugins that we might try instead. Having THOUSANDS of plugins i can be hard to sift thru them all to find what works.

To answer any preliminary questions regarding sets we have taken.
    1. We did turns off all other plugins except for these 2 and woocommerce core to see if the issues persisted. (Obviously we cannot turn these off individually because we cannot repeat the issues when one or the other is turned off).
    2. We did make sure we were updated to the most recent version. Having just got the plugins it was simple to know that this was not an outdated issue.
    3. We did message both support staffs with the issues. Since they ONLY communicate via email for support it was back and forth for weeks until our 30 day money back guarantee window was almost closed so we got a refund while we tried to continue solving this issue. Yes if this issue is resolved we will go back and repurchase the plugins but for the price that they are charging we could not continue to pay for a product that might not work for us while we try and figure it out without their support teams who were not helpful at all.

TIA for anyone that might be able to offer any constructive assistance.

Thank you for getting in touch. From what I gather, there are three options that you’d like to have available for selling online:

    • Pick-up
    • Delivery
    • Subscription

For the latter, the subscription model, feel free to check out the All Products for WooCommerce Subscriptions extension.

Furthermore, for pick-up and delivery options, I suggest looking into optimizing your checkout process by adding, removing or editing fields to suit your needs, using Checkout Field Editor.

Additionally, consider AutomateWoo for enabling powerful marketing automation for WooCommerce. AutomateWoo has the tools you need to grow your store and make more money.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.

    Pepe,

Thank you for your response. Sadly it was not helpful as it did not address the issues we are facing. We already use WooCommerce Subscriptions but that plugin does not seem to be integrating with out WooCommerce Local Pickup Plus plugin that allows us to have a drop down for all of our locations. Editing the checkout does not resolve this problem either because it would not give us the location options for pickup.

We are still in need of help if anyone can read the OP above and offer any assistance based on what we took the time to write out.

    Hello @xilat,

that allows us to have a drop down for all of our locations. Editing the checkout does not resolve this problem either because it would not give us the location options for pickup.

I’m afraid you’ll need some customization in order to achieve this which is not within our scope of support.

If you’re not already working with a developer, consider hiring a WooExpert. ??</img>
