Pics don’t show up after upgrading to wordpress 2.9.1

    Most part of the images of my posts before december are gone since I upgraded to WordPress 2.9.1 on Monday. Only my post of december and january get all images properly displayed.

    I tried out
    – to restore the database
    – upload thru ftp the whole uploads file containing the images.

    Nothing worked.

    Even the media page displays ? instead of thumbnails.

    Does anyone know how to fix it without manually delete the fake thumbnails and upload and place more than 500 images once more?

  • Have you checked your uploads path in Admin/Settings/Miscellaneous?

    I’ve noticed a few users report saving settings on the page esmi mentioned as a quick fix to the problem (no need to change anything, just click save).

    It may not help at all, but should only take a moment to do…
