• Pictorialis is ALMOST everything I could have hoped for. The big downside I see is that every photo is resized and recompressed. I would like to modify this hack so that it will only do this if the pic size is larger than the max pic size. Otherwise, it would just copy the same image over without altering it. Also, as I have little disk space, I do not want to store the originals on my server. ANy advice on how to have the script delete them when its done? I’m pretty new to all this but I’m learning. Thanks for your patience!

    If you need a quick solution, probably the best option is just to ftp into your host and delete the files manually. Or, copy the originals to the images folder, delete the recompressed files, and just rename your originals to sizedFilename.extension. You would also have to change the index file since clicking on the image takes you to the original in the upload folder.
