picture and byline

OK, I have several questions but I will start with a question about bylines. Is it possible to add a byline that has a thumbnail pic of myself, or whoever contributed to my blog? If so, how is this possible?

Ideally I would like my byline to be located just under the title of the article and look like this: PIC, By authors name, date.
