Picture from Post not showing after moving

  • I selected 2 images and used drag and drop and moved them into /uploads/images/tech
    when I open that folder they both show
    – in edit post, I see both images and both captions
    – now for the user it only shows one image but both captions

    Not sure what is going on.

    You should try to open the images directly in a separate tab. I can do that with the one that does not display, https://www.teawea.com/wp-content/uploads/images/tech/HP15C_withDate.jpg. So it was moved to the folder. Check the browser console window, you have several errors that might be part of the problem.

    I have one error 404
    It looks like it still wants to load the image at the old location
    /wp-content/uploads/HP15C_withDate-960×720.jpg
    But when I check the post the image path looks correct

    I see that the ‘srcset’ attribute in the image tag has the old address. I’ll have to research this and see if I can reproduce this issue so I cannot give you an immeidate fix. You could edit page and in the Text tab of the editor, replace the old address with the correct address.

    good catch.
    but even after I corrected it, the 2nd image is not showing.

    I’m trying to figure out how the ‘srcset’ attribute gets added when inserting an image into a post. It is not in the HTML when I do it.

    It would be helpful if you could go to Media Library Folders->Support, highlight and copy the system info text, paste into an email and send it to me/ My address is [email protected].
