Pictures are not showing after deactivating comin-soon mode

Unfortunately I am not able to replicate the issue, this doesn’t happen on my test instances. The problem could be caused by a plugin conflict, considering it occurs only on your end. Please try to backup your site, deactivate all plugins, then reactivate them one by one so you will be able to check which one could cause the issue and replace it with an alternative plugin.

no that doesn’t solve the problem at all.I installed all the plugins like bakcup guard, 3d flip book, coming soon page, complianz eg BEFORE I startet to install neve and the starter site “Original” with all the content. That worked out just fine. Looked at the page in live mode and it looked good.

Then I changed the first background-picture path.jpg and after saving it and looking at it in live mode the background picture is just simply gone. But the funny thing is when you look at the page home within the preview function it shows the changed background picture.

The issue you are describing could appear because the site isn’t published after making the changes and instead it is only saved as a draft. Please click on the settings wheel next to the Publish button from the Customizer and make sure the Publish option is checked, not the Save Draft one.
