    Hi there,

    I have some questions:

    • Are you using the block editor? Could you share a screenshot on how it looks like on your editing screen?
    • Any specific changes on your site, such as a new plugin or custom code for your theme?

    Hello Felipe,

Yes, I’m using the block editor. This is how it looks:

As far as I know there are no plugins or custom codes, though I didn’t build the site. I just post new articles to it, as the owner handed that over to me.

Hey @jz76! I see that your selected image in the screenshot is set to the ‘Large’ size. Are your other images set to that size as well?

Hello properlypurple. It depends. I also often set it too full size, so the reader can see the full detail if clicked on it.

I’ve looked into the code. Apparently the yellow part isn’t added anymore since recently, and that makes all the difference:

I’ve added that bit of code to the test article, and now the pictures line up properly again: https://www.transportfiets.net/2023/10/31/test-artikel/

So I have a work around now, but it’s going to make posting articles more work having to change the code manually. a

Hey @jz76! I’m glad you found a workaround.

Can you check if manually setting the width and height of the image, from the editor’s controls(in the right sidebar) does the same for you?

Hello @properlypurple, it doesn’t do the same thing. If I set the size from the sidebar, the landscape pictures move to the left. The manual settings add a different code that doesn’t work the same way:

If I add width=”800″ again, the pictures are centered properly again. It appears that the code that the side bar adds has changed, and it doesn’t work with well with the articles anymore.

Hi there, could you share the working and the non-working code for the page?

I would like to reproduce and see if I can understand what is going on.
