Pictures loading very slowly and look grainy

Hi, guys!

Well, I’ve got my blog up and I’ve posted some of my art there. But the trouble is that, while the pictures load very quickly and look great on my computer, they load slowly on my computer at work and look grainy. I’ve tried resizing them within my blog, but that didn’t seem to help.
