Pictures not appearing in Lightbox anymore

Hi I am having the same issue,

Latest wordpress version, and I have just un-installed and re-installed the latest version of the plugin, it appears to not be working for images (goes direct to image url as above) or for Iframes (goes direct to external page URL).

Any ideas?

The most common cause is a jQuery conflict somewhere. Often it’s in the theme using an outdated or incorrectly implemented copy of jQuery. if you can shoot me a URL to look at I can see if there’s anything out of the ordinary.

I will say that I’ve also had this issue with sites I run and Lightbox Plus and it’s always been because of jQuery.

I have had to disable your module and install an alternative one for the time being that the lightbox works for images on. I still want to go back to your module as it functions better. Let me know if you need me to enable your mod for you to diagnose it properly.

I have not had any issues until upgrading wordpress to the latest version.

Take a look though and let me know if it is anything obvious. If it makes any difference the iframe lightbox does not function on the admin side anymore either.

Hmm… ok unfortunately I won’t be able to tell what’s interfering with LBP with a different plugin. I’ll see what I can do though.

Odd, Dan I appear to have wasted your time as it is working again? !!!

I tried it on 3 different machines last night and even uninstalled it twice.

It works on the home page but not on posts?

the links for new and used should be working on this page as a lightbox, also all the images should show in the lightbox.

I’m not seeing any errors on the page. Could there be any malformed HTML in there. I took a snapshot of the page source so I can work from that if you need to get a functional lightbox back in place for the time being.

There should not be any, it was working right up until the WordPress update :/

I have note edited the theme or anything in this time only installed the update.

No worries. I’ll keep looking at it though I have to admit I’m pretty baffled as there are no errors and everything looks correct in the page source.

Well, I honestly have no idea. I’ll still look at it but I’m drawing a blank. Please try the very latest release in the event that corrected the issue.
