• HELP! I am a complete novice when it comes to html and WordPress in general. The web designer I hired did an incomplete job so I’m stuck trying to edit things myself. I’m having trouble with these coin features on my homepage…they’re basically big circles that flip when hovered over. My logo is on the front and I’m trying to upload pictures on the back but they don’t take on the shape of the coin…they just appear as normal square pics on the back of these circle shapes. Is there any way to change this so the pictures take on the circle shape so it looks like a seamless front & back?? Please help. My website is currently viewable (orchidsandveils.com) so you can see what I’m describing if that helps. Thank you!!

  • it seems that for example the ‘contact us’ coin is using a square .jpg image (original size 2200px square) with white background and round central design, therefore creating the illusion that it is a round image rotating…

the front of the coins are using .png images (size about 300px square) with transparent areas around the round center…

the easiest would possibly be to consider to create your images as square .png images with transparency and round center designs …

It worked! Thank you SO MUCH!

the images appear ever so slightly too large; possibly create the .png with a small empty border of about 4% extra pixels all around.

also, the ‘wedding dress’ image is rather large (with over 2MBytes) – try to optimize the image for the web …

I will try but the only way i knew how to turn it into a circle was by creating with picmonkey online. Like I said, I’m a moron when it comes to this stuff and I have no idea how to create a border with 4% extra pixels around, or how to optimize the wedding dress picture ?? But thank you again for your advice, I truly do appreciate it
