The same thing happened to me. After update to 6.3.18 the pin is gone at the frontend but is still visible in the backend. Tried to deactivate the plugin and activate it again but no luck.
Finally I used an old backup to go back to 6.3.17 and the pin is now visible.

    Hi @freshwater and @danielwigertz

Please send me links to your maps with version 6.3.18 active so that I can look further into this for you?

Please list any resolution here, as I’m having the same issue on one site (but not another that also uses v6.3.18 of WP Google Maps)

    Thanks!

Can also confirm that going back to the previous version v6.3.17 has it up and working again. I tried fiddling with some of the other settings first (such as overriding the jQuery version, and using a different Map API) but neither of these worked.

Both sites running on latest WP (v4.6.1)

    Hi there

We’ve identified a intermittent bug that seems to only occur on some sites whereby the markers do not display on the map. We are working on a permanent fix and will have an update available shortly.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Looking forward to the updated plugin release here, too.

    Hi there

The update will be released in the next hour or 2. My apologies for the delay.

    No problem Jarryd,

Pretty easy workaround at the moment (using previous version) and I’m sure I speak for everyone here that we appreciate your prompt response.

Unfortunately, this hasn’t fixed the problem for us. Reverting to earlier versions didn’t work either. Are you able to investigate for us? The page in question is https://northstarsprayers.com.au/stockists/

    Hi @judge-mentals

Thanks so much for your understanding. Did the latest update help you?

@gocreative – please go to ‘Plugins’ -> ‘Edit’ -> ‘WP Google Maps’ and scroll to the bottom of the page. You’ll find a Google Maps API call that has http: in front of it – try removing this so that it looks like //maps.google and let me know if this helps at all?

Updated the file but it made no difference.

@jarryd-long I haven’t tried it yet, but will let you know when I get a chance.

@jarryd-long are you able to help if I provide you with login details to our website?

    Hi @gocreative

I’ve responded to you in your other topic as well to try and assist you further ??

working now as before. but Siteorigin Vantage Theme using PageBuilder no map shows up but i’m pretty sure that issue has always been Siteorign PageBuilder issue? i see the map/pin in Vantage Theme on a page i didn’t create with PageBuilder.

a note for user having trouble with API keys at google console. i’ve had a lot of problems, i’m a low level admin that creates basic sites for small businesses/friends so i log into about 15 diff gmail/youtube/google webmaster/ and now API Console accounts. even if i’m logged into a clients’ account google auto switches me back to what it thinks should be the main account. google seems to mix up the API keys too when trying to sign up. i don’t know if this is google or mac/firefox browser cache, i’m not that good to figure that out.

thank you for the FAST fix!!!!!
