Pinboard and categories

  • Hello, I am using a child theme of pinboard theme and am having a problem.. My website is organized in categories for example at the homepage you can see articles and audio.. then if you click on one you get articles > general and after general you get posts in the ‘uncategorized’ category..

    I tried to make a custom php page (articles-general.php) and it works.. am not using sidebars.. its full width and the problem is the grid system in the articles-general.php page is not organized well (the frontend user will see a scrambled grid like posts with a lot of spacing in between).. when I assign ‘blog full width’ to this page from the backend I get the grid well organized.. the problem with this method is I cant choose which category to display on that page.. I hope I have explained well and apologies in advance.. am new here ??

    btw the website is not online.. am using xampp.. again, my apologies
