Pinboard: Removing Leave a Reply Box

    I am trying to remove the option to leave a reply on the pages throughout our website. I’ve gone through Settings>Comments and unchecked everything, but it still has “Leave a Reply” on the bottom of my pages. Is there a way to remove this feature all together?

    I have just installed the Pinboard theme on my WordPress site, and looked at your issue with the “leave a reply box”. I managed to solve the problem by going on the page where the reply box is, then going to screen options at the top of the edit page. Once on the screen options, tick on discussions and then un-tick, allow comments and Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page. Click save at the bottom and the view the page and the reply box will not be there.

    Hi stubbs123,

    I actually have already unchecked the Comments box in the Screen Options within the edit page and the reply box is still there.

    Thanks stubbs123, this worked perfect. castlebri, you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page when in editing mode and there you will find “Allow Comments” to uncheck.
