Pinboard Theme – add email link to footer

  • Just started a new site using Pinboard theme. My friend doesn’t want any social media icons but would like to add phone #, address and email link to footer of pages. I added using text in widgets but email link doesn’t work? Thanks for any help. Also, is there a way to eliminate the search bar in top header?

  • If you look in your theme’s files, and locate header.php, you’ll see some code to display the search box that can easily be removed.

    Additionally, if you open footer.php, you can manually add the information you would like there, without going through a widget. Why the email doesn’t work via the widget, I don’t know, and couldn’t figure out with a closer look.
