pinboard theme full width layout without still showing sidebar

I’m using the pinboard theme and custom sidebar plugin with widgets. My current theme layout is right sidebar. With the custom sidebar option I have to “replace” the bottom sidebar for widgets to appear in the right sidebar (known issue). Now I want to get rid of the sidebar all together and have a full width layout. I deactivated the custom sidebar plug-in and changed the theme layout to full width and the right sidebar still appears on allpages (it’s just blank, no widgets). please help
