Pinboard Theme Static Home Page

    I’m new to WordPress.

    I’m trying to insert an image into the Home page.

    I’ve added 4 pages to set up the primary menu. With the Home page that makes 5 BUT this Home page does not show up on the All Pages list so I cannot download an image.

    I’d appreciate any advice that can be given

  • By default WordPress displays your latest posts on the homepage.

    If you want to have a static, customized homepage, create a new page titled ‘Home’, enter your content and click publish.

    Next go to Settings > Reading and next to ‘Front page displays’ tick ‘A static page’ and select Home from the drop down list.

    The page will now be included on the drop down list of All Pages so you can add it to your primary menu.
