pingback & trackback spam

Oh… Also, I have cleantalk and akismet. Is it advisable to keep your plugin?

You can turn off pingback & trackback for a specific post.
You can do it in the “Discussion” pane. Just uncheck the checkbox next to the “Allow trackback & pingback on this page”.

I don’t have an issue when other ping or track. What happens is, when I publish an article, it automatically pings & tracks ME. So it is making me ping & track MYSELF. Then it shows a potion of my article that I had just written. How come this is happening? How do I make it so that I am not pinging & tracking myself?

Yup. That didn’t work though so I got rid of it. Something must be overriding it. Any thoughts?
