    can you elaborate on what that means, and what you expect to happen?

    In Settings/Writing I’ve set the link “https://rpc.twingly.com/”.
    I expect my post to wind up at the blog link section related to the article I am commenting, as it does when i ping manually.

    thats not what thats for. pingbacks inside posts, and that above dont serve the same function. That setting is for notifying services (generally) that your blog has been updated.

    it doesnt ping the same as when you link to a post manually.
