I can’t seem to find out how to activate the thumbnail display for galleries? I can see in the demo there is a 3 column gallery…

  • Hey! When you create a gallery, you should have the option to choose how many columns it will take up on your page.

On the page you want the gallery to show up on, click the “Add Media” button above the editor.

    Then, click Create Gallery.

You’ll have options when you make the gallery, including the size of your images, as well as how may columns to display.

    Does this help?

Oh crap I was using the gallery post format and not the option you get when you click “add media”. This helps me a lot because I was trying to use another company’s gallery plugin and it interfered with yours (see my other post). This looks like it has all the functionality I need.

However, I can’t get more than 6 columns even though it supports up to 9? What’s happening?

    Thanks, Glenn

    Hey,
The interface for wordpress supports up to 9 columns but the theme gallery only up to 6. you can turn off the theme gallery and use the wordpress default in your apperance > theme options > misc settings.

OK that makes sense… however if I understand correctly I will lose your beautiful light box if I do that. What about the premium theme?
This is not that important really I just thought there was a bug.

    Hey,
There is a built in 12 column option but with any other size because the premium that has a different image output you can make whatever columns you want using a little css. (which support can help you with)
