    Hi,

I am trying to set up a Pinterest feed however it is all in error due to the format of the way the price is fed into Pinterest. I am using the selected Pinterest feed configuration.

Here is the error from Pinterest:

The price field is malformed. Check that you are correctly sending a price in this format: <number> <currency>. Examples of valid prices include 1.00USD and 1.00 USD. Do not include any currency symbols.

Here is how the price is displayed in the XML feed:
    <g:price>GBP 49.95</g:price>

I have placed the GBP as a suffix however it does not seem to have any effect?

    Please would you advise?

    Thanks
    Joe

HI I fixed my own issue. I had to create a new feed as the original feed would not update the GBP to suffix when i placed it there and ran the updater multiple times.

    Can close this thanks!

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with the prices in your Pinterest feed.

The currency indeed needs to be in the suffix according to Pinterest guidelines. You mention you did so. Are you sure your refreshed the product feed and cleared all caching (plugins) so you are not looking at an old version of your feed?

Our reactions crossed path I see. Good to hear you solved the issue at hand yourselves ??
