After last update I was prompted to re-authenticate. My account got disconnected apparently so I followed the on-boarding process. I got the option to connect a new catalog or catalog already connected, so I picked the second one. Anyways, it apparently created a new catalog and now it’s conflicting with the one I already have connected. I’m getting this error now. Would you please advise on how to proceed.

    Hi, @fwitteam !

Can I see the destination of the call (headers, the URL where the call was made)? I can see the response only, I would like to see the request as well.

is there a way of getting this info over privately?

@fwitteam, let’s talk in Slack. I sent you a message at Making WordPress workspace.

    Hey @purplelemur

I tried it out. When I disconnected from Pinterest the feed file wasn’t deleted from my site, but I got a notification from Pinterest telling me my source got deleted, which in fact did. So only my previous feed remained on Pinterest (error notification still remained).

I picked the second option again on the onboarding process (should I pick the first one instead?) and another feed file was created, it doesn’t match my latest one or the first one.

    On Pinterest side:
    /wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-.xml

    previous one getting synced:
    /wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-6GxTl7.xml

    new one with the fix:
    /wp-content/uploads/pinterest-for-woocommerce-mwDSXf.xml

So basically no changes as in previous version with this fix. And another feed is being created.

    Hi, @jaspix !

I know what it that and I’ll add a condition for the case. Could you jump on Slack with me so we would not post to the forum all the private data we may need while testing the fix? Instructions are given here: https://make.www.ads-software.com/chat/ ?

    @jaspix ,

‘Catalogue already exists’ means not to sync products. That is what Pinterest told me. You can select the option, but the Product Sync will be set to OFF, so inside the plugin, you will have to turn it ON. Or, you choose to create while onboarding, which will set Product Sync ON from the start; it does not matter much.

Here is another version of the plugin that must fix your case, taking your feed URL into account.

I understand coding is not childsplay, as a coder myself with almost 40 years experience, I just don’t understand how does something so disfunctional even get to be pushed to the public ??
I have DEACTIVATED AND DELETED the plugin from the site, and still, I have 24…25 notifications telling me the same thing, that the feed could not be deleted, even though I have SPECIFICALLY SELECTED TO USE THE PREVIOUSLY EXISTING FEED when I was asked to reauthenticate. I click 25 times to dismiss the message, then 25 times more to dismiss the notification that is telling me that I’ve dismissed the message. Seriously ?
And then 5 minutes later I get all the same messages back !
Sloppy work, at best, something so broken should not be pushed to the public !

One of my websites did not update to version 1.49 but stopped at version 1.3.25. everything went very well. no problem occurred. still the old feed file. You should turn off updates if you are still on version 1.3.25. and wait for the developer to fix the error

    Hey @purplelemur,

I tried it. It appears the issue has been fixed with that version, no error notification shown and the catalog on my site matches the catalog on Pinterest.

    Good new, @jaspix !

Please, keep me updated if anything goes wrong again! I’ll prepare the release to make the fixed version available to the public.

    Thank you!

    Hi @purplelemur ,

Last ingestion went successfully, I believe my issue is resolved. I will still keep monitoring for a few more days if no more issues appear I will mark as resolved.

If you could please describe your problem in more detail, we may be able to help you. We should be able to make the plugin work, or we can assist you with deleting it if there are problems in doing so.

    Pozdrawiam,
    Bartek
