Pinterest – Pin It Button & Description Info

Hi Robin,

Thanks for using Tracks! The image is not showing on mobile because it is very large (1.3MB). Your server is timing out before the image is loaded and displaying the alt text instead. The alt text is currently set as “(null)”.

If you make the image a bit smaller and compress it, it will load much faster on desktop and will show on mobile as well. Compressor.io is an excellent compression tool you can use.

Unfortunately, since the Pin it button is not a part of Tracks, I can’t be of much help with that. I would suggest contacting the developer of the Pin it plugin you’re using.

Thank you for your feedback and the info about Compressor.io. I will evaluate my uploading methods and determine a better way to post so my images don’t time out.

Will try to sort out why the Pin It button is being flaky.

If you’re unsure about this plug in, by any chance do you know of a Pin It plugin that definitely works with your theme?
