    Hi there. I have a request. Instead of using the featured image when users click the Pinterest button, can you have it go to select any image in the post?

    Not a coder but I believe it is done this way:

    the “buttonBookmark” is what makes the pin-it button select from any images on the page.

    where as buttonPin is what makes it use a specific image.

    Easy Social Share buttons does it this way and I would love to see it in your plugin (I prefer Shared Counts because of how light weight and simplistic it is.)

    bonus: This would make the add-on Pinterest plugin not as necessary.

    Forgot to set code, so code didn’t come through.

    Let me try again, I think this is how to create a button that offers up any images on page

    <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/pin/create/button/" data-pin-do="buttonBookmark">
    </a>

    Hey dreamyambitions,

    Great suggestion but unfortunately it’s not possible. The “image sector” is only available when using the full Pinterest JS API, which Shared Counts does not use.

    Since the whole goal of Shared Counts is to not use any 3rd party JS scripts to keep things super lean (and GDPR compliant), the feature isn’t something we’re able to support.

    Thanks!
