• I use the Pique Theme and really like it. I am a big fan of the panel structure on the front page but I am wondering if it is possible to not show the full page content but only an excerpt of the page that is connected via the panel structure.

I am working on this site: website.2spot.tv

    Thanks for any suggestions!

The blog I need help with is website.2spot.tv.

  • The More Tag should do the trick, then you’ll be able to control exactly how much of each page is displayed in its panel.

Thanks for the tip, should have thought about it. Can you by any chance tell me in which file in the PIQUE theme i can change “Continue Reading” to a custom text?

Instead of making that change on a one-off basis, did you want to activate Pique’s German translation?

    https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-themes/pique/de/default

    Here are the steps:

    1. Choose German from Settings > General
    2. On the GlotPress page I linked above, from the dropdown menu at the bottom left, choose the .mo file format option, and click Export to download the German translation file and save it on your hard drive
    3. Rename the file pique-de_DE.mo on your hard drive.
    4. Upload the file to your site in this spot in your WordPress install:
    /wp-content/languages/themes/pique-de_DE.mo

Let me know how it goes, or if this isn’t the route you’d like to go we can assist further with alternatives.
