    Description of the problem:

Several of my clients’ websites use the Complianz plugin in its free version. On one of them, a “Pirated Software” tab appeared in the cookies section, indicating a possible plugin hack.

    Troubleshooting:

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Complianz plugin, performing a complete database reset each time. However, the problem persists after each reinstallation.

    Consequences:

This issue blocks a large portion of cookies, including Google Analytics cookies. As a result, my client can no longer view their website’s traffic statistics, which is highly detrimental to their business.

    Additional information:

    • WordPress: 6.4.3
    • Complianz: 7.0.3
    • Theme: Hello Elementor
    • Plugins: WooCommerce, Elementor, Crocoblock Suite, Google Analytics for WooCommerce

    Support request:

I kindly ask you to help me solve this problem urgently. The situation is critical for my client, and it is imperative to restore the normal functioning of cookies and Google Analytics.

I am at your disposal to provide you with any additional information you may need.

    Sincerely,

@okparfait this happens if the website uses a nulled version of the premium plugin. The domain is then flagged, which has to be manually removed by us, so even if you revert to the free version, these notifications stay.

Please email the domain to support(at)complianz.io so we can remove the flag from this domain.
