• Hello,

I installed Piwik yesterday and integrated it with my site using your plugin, and my API key. It is set up correctly – I believe.

    Settings:
    Piwik Mode: HTTP API
    URL: correctly entered
    Auth token: entered

I am running PHP 5.5 on my server.

I checked my source code, and the Piwik codes have been injected into the template properly.

How come the install isn’t tracking visitors?

    Thanks for your assistance.

Hmm. Seems I just answered my own question. I don’t know why, but when the plugin is activated, it appears to cause a JavaScript error on my site. I have had to deactivate it now. I think I will just use the provided JS script in the Piwik installation. Thanks.

Can you please tell me, which tracking code configuration you used and which JS error message appeared? So I can check this and fix a possible WP-Piwik bug or report a Piwik bug to the Piwik team. (In fact, WP-Piwik uses the tracking code provided by Piwik itself. So it does not “contain” an own tracking code.)

    Thank you!
