We are encountering a strange issue, where facebook pixel is setup for content view for our product pages.

However, pixel is double and triple counting visitors content views. Basically, for every page they visit it hit as a separate content view.

We are using the Pixel Cat Pro. Our storefront is on WordPress but the checkout is on Shopify.

    Hello Eeitan,

Thanks for reaching out. Let’s see how we can help.

Can you please get back to us with details on how this view-content event is setup?

Are you using one of our e-commerce integrations, or have you created this event yourself. If you created it, please provide a screenshot of the settings for that event.

If you are using one of integrations, this will be due to how your site is setup. The view content event will fire every time someone loads a page that has the content on it. If you have the content displayed on every page, then this is expected behavior.

Please get back to us with further details, and we will see how we can assist.
