Hello @schero86 ,
Thank you for reaching out.
In this case, selecting either of these two options won’t make much difference as the Google script will be integrated and injected by WooCommerce instead of Complianz, regardless of whether the end user gives consent or not, the scripts will be fired. This approach is not GDPR-compliant.
The “Statistics” section in Complianz is designed to inject GA or GTM (depending on your choice). After selecting an option, it will prompt you to insert the ID under “Statistics Configuration.”
I recommend using Complianz to handle everything, as our plugin ensures GDPR compliance by loading scripts only after consent is given.
If you prefer to continue with WooCommerce, you can select “Yes, but not with any of the above services” inside the Statistics section. However, you will need to troubleshoot how to block specific cookies and scripts for WooCommerce through our Script Center ( see step 3 to learn how to use the script center): Complianz Plugin Integration Guide.
For the compliant and easier option, I suggest following our guide on Google Consent Mode v2. If you don’t need Consent Mode v2, you can simply configure Tag Manager in Complianz’s Statistics configuration.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
