With “treat variable products like simple products” enabled – URL lands you on 500mg, the content ID is from 1000mg, and product price is from 250mg. This is issue is causing our facebook content view and add to cart to mismatch. Is there any fix/change we can make to so the pixel will pick up the correct product ID when adding to cart? Currently it picks up the parent ID every time instead of adding the correct ID for the respective variant. Thank you.

    Hello,

You can use the default configuration. Disable the option to treat variable products like simple products, and save.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we have tried that as well. We are getting the product ID for the parent product everytime you add to cart even if you select a variant other than the parent product. Can you follow that URL and use facebook pixel help to get a live look at what is happening?

    Thank you!

    Make sure you:

    1. Return to the original configuration and save.

    2. Delete any cache that you might have.

I also noticed that some variations don’t have a SKU value, so their IDs are empty. My advice is to use the default IDs instead of SKU and update the feed to use the same logic. IDs are always present and unique.

Do you have any third party plugin that changes the way variations work?

We have XT WooCommerce Variation Swatches installed. All of our product variants have unique skus so I do not know why they are not populating. We have a multisite so we need to use skus instead of IDs for consistency across sites.

    Thank you,

I need some screenshots where I can see the SKU settings for all variations of the product you linked here.

There is nowhere for me to attach files on that contact page I need an email to send to.
