Pixelated GIFs when on actual site but look fine during editing

  • I’ve been fighting with this for about an hour and I cannot figure out how to stop my GIF from pixelating once it’s been uploaded. While I’m editing the post the GIF looks completely fine. I’ve made sure it’s been uploaded in its full size, the size of the file is 3.4 MB but I don’t know what else to do!

  • Your image file needs to be 72 dpi at 100%.
    Larger does not mean better, as the compression is causing the quality to degrade. If you provide a link to the image file I can show you.
