You should be able to keep it contained a bit by setting a max height on it, like this:

.logo img.custom-logo {
    max-height: 100px;
}

You can change that 100px max to whatever you like.

Your logo at the moment is 150×150 px – https://amakersjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/header-small-logo.png.

I don’t know if you’ve changed it since the initial post, but it definitely isn’t 300x150px.

I’ve added the CSS code and it seems to have resolved the issue! I can now use a super crisp .svg image instead.
