I’m running the latest Geodirect and WordPress versions on a virgin install. All other plugins are disabled.

Map is set to the Openstreetmap API.

When saving a place, the address gets automatically removed from the place settings in the wp-admin every-time. On the details page of the place on the frontend, the address is being displayed in the sidebar, so somehow it gets saved.

But when re-saving the place the next time, the address gets totally removed (also from the frontend) because the address field in the settings is now empty.

The address is in the default location, so this is not the problem.

I won’t create an account in your support forum and can’t provide the ftp details.
Just thought I’ll let you know here and maybe you care.

    Thanks

    Hi Nicoter,

I did a quick test in one of our demo and couldn’t recreate the issue. The address is visible everywhere after saving.

Did you try deactivating all 3rd party plugins temporarily to see if one is creating a conflict with the script? That would help following up.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

    Thanks for the fast reply.

Yes, I disabled all other plugins and the issue still exists.

One thing just came to my mind: The website is hosted on Amazon Cloudfront. Maybe this could cause an issue?

    Thanks

    Hello,

The first thing that comes to my mind is do all other custom fields save? Maybe the DB user does not have full permissions to create/modify fields?

I would love to help more if you can provide details on our support forum, its probably something very small.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
