Place ads unit after beginning for Header element

    We’d ideally like to have both our 300 x 250 and 320 x 50 delivered using the automatic placement and want to place ads unit beginning of header element

    <header>
    <ads plces >
    then other elements
    </header>

    we are using plugin and we had created a addon plugin to embed ad tag into header.
    is this possible to directly add these ads places beginning of header element or any filter we can changes header ad placement
