    Hi,
    My site address is mybigpinksuitcase.com and I am using a modified Omega theme.
    I want to place the comments form in my sidebar. I was able to do that through addition of a text widget and the use of the PHP code plugin.
    Now I want to remove the comments form below individual posts in favor of the sidebar comments, but when I disable comments at the ‘Posts’ level, it also removes the comment form in the text widget in the sidebar, seemingly because both instances are using the same comments form?
    I am kind of at a loss as to how to hide the comments form below the post and keep the comments form in the sidebar. Any ideas?

    You can hide the default form via css

    .content #respond {
    display:none;
    }

    Thanks Han! Perfect! I was using display:none with only #respond, without .content. Exactly what I wanted.
