• Hi,

Now correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve seen it repeatedly stated that to make a site as search engine friendly as possible try to place the actual text content as close to the top of the HTML page as possible.

With this in mind I’m wondering if there’s any way to move all the code that is placed within WP_HEADER (calls to stylesheets, javascript files, etc.) including all the additional calls placed there by various plug-ins to somewhere like WP_FOOTER instead. The calls would still be there, so everything should still work, but the amount of code that the search engines would have to wade through before getting to the ‘juicy bit’ would be minimised.

What does everyone think? Has anyone already tried doing this?

    Tony.
