Place image in site header

Hi there,

I want to do a very simple thing and that’s add an image to the blank red row on the top of my page. I’ve switched off site description and site title which normally appear there. I think the section on inspection is site-header.

There is an option to add a site logo which does appear there but when I add it the resolution gets mangled and it’s reduced to a small ugly image on the left.

Any easy workaround please to add my own image covering full width keeping resolution?
