    Hi,

I am starting to get my head around WPPizza for use in my friend/client’s bakery. I’m using a custom theme and the plugin works great in there. I am going to try a few things with the do_shortcode function and load_template but that’s for another time.

In the products listings, the product itself links to the single post. I’m currently using a localhost to develop the site but basically, I can see the single-wppizza.php page for the “Special Pizza”, to use your data. I like this idea and hope to use the page as a way to show more information about the product, any allergens that it contains, etc. Is it possible for me to have the “Add to cart” controls on the page (say in a sidebar or something) as well as in the main product listing? If so, how do I do it? Is it something simple that I have totally missed or is there a way that I could make it work?

    Thanks for your help.

obviously, i cannot see what you have done, however, generally speaking:
    if you followed this
    https://www.wp-pizza.com/topic/single-wppizza-menu-items-display/
for single items you should have all the prices, add to cart etc etc as in the “normal” category listings
so just put a cart on that page (sidebar typically) and you can add things to cart just the same way

PS: wppizza v3.x (see blog.wp-pizza.com – not too long for a beta) will streamline/simplify this whole shebang a bit, but for the moment it’s the above

Actually, that is pretty much what I was hoping for. All I need to do now is modify the wppizza-loop.php file that is in my theme so that I have one layout for the “archive” page and one layout for the “single” page.

    Thanks!
