Placeholder Disapear On Click

  • Hi Everyone,

    I have a client who would like to have the placeholder text disappear on field. Currently when you click to focus on the field the text stays in place until you start typing.

    Is it possible to have the text disappear upon clicking into the field before you start typing?

  • I believe placeholder text disappearing when you start typing is the default behavior in each browser.

    A Google search might give you some idea of how you can change this via CSS or alternatively using jQuery etc.
