Placeholder for “date field”

Hi,

First, I’d like to thank you for this great free plugin!
I have a short question.
I’m using this string for selecting the date parameters.
[date* date class:form-control]
When looking the form on PC there is mm/dd/yyyy written inside the field.
When checking on mobile phone (iOS or Android) this field is empty.

Is there a way to add a placaholder text here as well?
