Placeholder image gone

Hey there!

I tried to take a look at your site to see what might be happening, but I can only see a “coming soon” page.

The core WooCommerce plugin sets a default placeholder image for products which don’t yet have their own specific image. It’s certainly possible to switch around that image, though, which it sounds like the WC Featured Products might have done.

The easiest thing to do is to disable the WC Featured Products plugin and check to see if the product images have been fixed. If so, then that was an easy fix.

If not, then something has likely broken the link to the default image. You can tell WooCommerce to use whatever placeholder image you’d like using a small code snippet. Here’s how:

And can I find somewhere the same placeholder images in the sizes it used to be?

I checked with the inspector where are the images should be, and they have been deleted somehow.

Did you have any luck just removing the WC Featured Products plugin?

The placeholder image should have one size and Woo will use the different generated sizes as needed. If you’re choosing a replacement, it should be 450×450 px.
