If you’re using one of our Placester themes, you can set the currency symbol in Theme Options > General. If you’re using your own or a third-party theme, you have to go into the PHP code and make a manual change. The file to look at is placester/blueprint/functions/internationalization.php
As far as square meters, there isn’t a provision for doing automatic unit conversions or anything like that. Using shortcodes and shortcode templates (wp-admin > Placester > Shortcodes > Shortcode Templates) you can specify the markup to use for listings and search forms, etc., including which data fields you want to use and the labels you want to have appear. But there’s no setting available to take care of that choice systemwide.
