Plan name is not updated
-
Hello,
I can not update/change the plan name.
Any different text is updated properly after I updated the table but not the plan name.

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for your message.
Sorry to hear the plan name is not working for you.
Can you go into more details about what exactly you are doing? Are you editing the table in a page or post or directly in the Easy Pricing Table editor?
Maybe you can also send us a link to your table so that we can inspect it?
When I test this with my own test table, the plan name is updating.
Looking forward to your reply.
All the best.
Thanks for your quick response!
Of course, I can give you more information. These are the steps I am doing to get the error:
1. Click on the plugin in my WordPress Dashboard “Pricing Tables”
2. Create a new table with “new shortcode” or “new page”
3. Editing any plan name
4. Press “Update”Now the editor is stuck. Normally the text of the button changes to “Updating…” but it still says “Update” if I only change the plan name.
I can not insert new columns in this state until I refreshed the page or change any other content of a column. If the editor is froozen and I change just one letter e.g. remove the “1” of “Feature 1” the editor updates the price table and in the left bottom corner I get the message that the table is updated.
The plan name stays the same. The funny thing is, if I edit the name of the plan, don’t click “Update” and then click “Bold”, the name of the plan is immediately reset to the original name.
Unfortunately I can’t provide a page where you can see the table, because the website is still under construction and private.
Tested on Chrome and Firefox.
Wordpress version: 5.9.3Hi Dennis,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried this myself as you described, and it is working as normal.
There might be a conflict with something else you have installed on your site.
Are there any error messages appearing in your console while trying to update ?
Is it possible for you to search for the conflict by turning off the other plugins and changing the theme temporarily ?
You can try deactivating all plugins, except Easy Pricing Tables. See if the issue persists. If so, your issue is not caused by a conflict with a plugin.
If the issue is gone, one of the deactivated plugins was causing a conflict. You need to find which one is triggering it.
Reactivate your plugins one at a time, and check after each to see if the issue returns. When it does, you will have found the plugin conflict.
If a plugin conflict is not found, check the theme next. Revert to a default WordPress theme like ‘Twenty Twenty Two’. If the issue is gone, you have a theme conflict. If not, the issue is not caused by your theme or a plugin.
Looking forward to hearing if that turns up anything.
All the best.
Hi Dennis,
I hope you had a good weekend.
Did you have any further issues getting the plugin to work?
Looking forward to hearing back.
All the best.
Hi Dennis,
I am going to mark this as “resolved” but if you have any more issues, don’t hesitate to get back to us.
All the best.
I am currently having this exact problem. Everything updates fine except the plan names. When I try to change the name of each plan the update button stops working and everything freezes.
In case anyone else is having this problem I had to switch to code view to edit the names successfully.
Hi Joalmoore,
Thanks for your message. Would you be able to tell us what WordPress version you have, along with the plugins and themes you are using ? With that information, we can narrow down what the cause is.
