Platform, Not Plugin

  • PressBooks uses WordPress as a development framework and, as such, it is not a typical WordPress plugin. Rather, it is an organization that has made open source the code that runs PressBooks dot com.

    What I mean is don’t be throwing this on your existing blog as if it was an extra piece of flair. It takes over the entire system.

    Do install this if you are looking for a serious book publishing CMS.
