Play.ht plugin not working with PHP 8

    I’m testing the plugin locally with a PHP 8 instance, and when having this plugin activated I am getting this error:
    Uncaught exception (TypeError): "count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, null given" at ./wp-includes/post-template.php
    If I turn off the Play.ht plugin then I stop getting the error.
    I am using WP version 6.0.1
    And Play.ht 3.6.3 version 6-29-22
