    Hi crbarnett,
That’s interesting. Thanks for sending me the links.

Does the player information ever disappear from the admin players list and/or the edit player page?

Does the single player view work (for the players where the team gallery view fails?

Does this happen when you change ANY setting in particular? Does it happen if you just re-save them without changing them?

Does this happen with the original taxonomy template?

Thanks for getting back Mark, appreciate it.

At first, I didn’t think data was being lost from the player edit page. But it looks like those with the \ did have their info wiped for some reason.

The same \ replacing the player info happens on individual player pages too, not just team gallery views.

I haven’t noticed if saving any setting in particular causes this to happen. Nor has this been caused by just saving without changing.

Not sure what you mean by original taxonomy template…

I’m adding more players now, it looks like it can effect any player at any time. I thought it was just one guy who was having the issue.

The last player info I lost, was not triggered by a display settings change or save at all. It wasn’t correlated with any sequence of adding new players, or anything I can recognize.

Very random and for no reason up until this point. Hard to say what might be causing.
Can I provide you with any more screen shots or login info that might be helpful to you.

    Thanks for taking the time.

That’s bizzare. I haven’t seen this in testing, and I’ve added A LOT of players, so something is not configured correctly …

    (0. By the taxonomy file I meant taxonomy-teams.php.)

    1. What version of WordPress are you running?

    2. Please send me a screenshot of the main Edit Players page.

    3. It might be worth DELETING the plugin and re-installing a fresh copy. You might also install it manually using FTP rather than the auto-install feature. You should not lose any player data but you WILL lose and changes you’ve made to the plugin stylesheet, so move that to a save location first, then write it back over the plugin’s base version.

    4. You might try loading a roster from a CSV file and see if the same problems occur.

    5. Turn on WP_DEBUG and see what errors come up on the admin screens. (You can find out how to do this by Googling it.)

    6. There may be a plugin conflict (although I doubt it). You can check by deactivating (don’t delete, just deactivate) all other plugins and see what happens. If everything looks good, you can re-activate the plugins one and a time and see when/where you get a conflict.

    Interesting. We’ll figure it out.

Got a similar problem: As soon as I enter something into the player-bio / description, the player attributes (name, age, position….) get deleted after about 30-60 seconds after saving/updating the whole player – but the bio itself stays. I’m not using any “/” or “\” at all anywhere. Entering a single letter in the bio is already enaugh to delete the other info. Clearing the bio and the player info stays!

    Hi Space-Rat-
I cannot repeat this behavior. However, while working on the thumbnails for the next release of the plugin, I did notice that the first player’s data (and only the first player) seemed to disappear as you describe. I thought it might be related to changing the thumbnail (featured image) but I will go back and check the bio as well.

    Thanks.

So far I only got one player in the DB, aye!
I’ll put in some more to check this!

    Hi Space-Rat,
Having not heard from you for a month, I’m marking this one resolved. Please open a new thread if you have further questions. Hope it worked out for you.
