• Hi,

When displaying player lists, either directly or using shortcode, some of them do not respect the selected columns filter. I select three columns to be displayed on my player lists (in addition to basic ones): Squad number, Position, Age. Here everything is ok, while here it is not.

Does somebody have an explanation to this kind of bug ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there @ventatto ,

Can you please share the shortcode you are using and some screendshots from the settings of your player lists you are trying to show?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Here is the shortcode : [player_list 16599] (but the same problem occurs when displaying directly the player list without shortcode).

    And here are some screenshots.

Using the shortcode in that form it should show the exact same result as when using the direct link to your player list. Is that not the case?

    Thanks,

It is the case, I have the same result using shortcode or not, which is problematic. What I said initially is that two different player lists with the same column properties do not display the same outcome format (the one I refer to with the screenshots seems to not take the columns selection into account)…

As you can see from above, everything appeared as it should be… Maybe you have an override from any of your plugins or even your template? Can you try to temporalily switch to a default theme like Rookie or TwentyTwenty?

    Thanks,
    Savvas

    Hi,

I have just given a try with Rookie and TwentyTwenty but still the same problem.

Indeed in your examples it works as it should be but in several of my player lists as well. The issue only occurs for few player lists, like the one in the provided link.

Disable ALL your plugins except SportsPress and clear your cache please.

    Thanks,

Just did it (troubleshooting with only SportsPress enabled and cleared cache) with three themes but still the same issue…

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

That’s really weird. Can you please send us a screenshot of your entire SportsPress > Configure screen?

Maybe one of your variable names is breaking the columns selection.

    Thanks!
